Always worked 100% fine for me on windows, switch to GNU/linux and flash ctrl+c works but very rarely, I mainly use ctrl+x and the text vanished, press ctrl+v and you don't get what you copied at all.
Whenever I try to use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+C) to copy a text to clipboard and use Ctrl+V to paste it in a different application, my system just hangs for so many seconds. I am not sure what is causing this issue. Any suggestion is appreciated. My configuration: RAM: 4 GB Processor : I3 Intel. windows-10. This is running in Python 2.7 on Kubuntu 11.10. Ctrl + C will not kill it. I also tried adding a handler for system signals, but that did not help: import signal import sys def signal_handler (signal, frame): sys.exit (0) signal.signal (signal.SIGINT, signal_handler) To kill the process I am killing it by PID after sending the program to the Go to Search, type firewall, and open Windows Defender Firewall. Go to Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall. Click on Change Settings. Find Remote Desktop, check it, and click OK to save changes. Windows Firewall is also one of the most common causes of Remote Desktop problems. I have already tried, as per some users' advice, doing Device Manager>Keyboards>Drivers>Update Drivers (or Uninstall Device) and restart PC but the "Ctrl+C/V" still does not work in Windows 10 Pro.
